Intended use
A feeler gauge is a special measuring gauge that is primarily used where measuring with other measuring devices is not possible or is inconvenient. You can use a feeler gauge to determine and specify the dimensions of gaps (e.g. gaps left by dimensional tolerances) or other very narrowly cut gaps. The feeler gauge is also used to set various components (e.g. valve clearance, breaker gap, spark plug gap, etc.).

Description of the
This feeler gauge consists of a set of precisely calibrated metal strips that allow you to quickly and easily determine gap dimensions or other narrow gaps in the range from 0.05 to 1.00 mm. The measuring range is graduated from 0.05 mm to 0.3 mm in steps of 0.05 mm and from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm in steps of 0.1 mm.
To determine the width or dimension of a gap, insert the thickest blade into the gap that still fits into it. The respective thickness of the blade - and therefore the width of the gap - can be read off the individual blades of the feeler gauge using the millimetre markings on them.
The fan-shaped arrangement of the gauge blades allows you to slide the individual blades together. If you fold them into the housing, to which the individual blades are connected by a locking screw, the feeler gauge becomes a compact measuring tool.

Gute Fühlerlehre
Habe den Satz bestellt für einfache Messungen bei denen es auf Tausendstel nicht ankommt. Bin mit der Qualität zufrieden. Vorsicht: Halterung sollte entgratet werden, die ist doch sehr scharfkantig. Hat mit dem Messzweck jedoch nichts zu tun, daher 5/5
