Intended use
A parting-off steel can be used either for parting off or for grooving. A major advantage of parting steel holders with HSS knives is that the knives can be resharpened depending on the application requirements. For example, the grooving width can be reduced or the angle changed by grinding the blade. The thinner the cutting edge, the more delicate the work can be. At the same time, of course, the risk of vibrations if the pressure is too high must be taken into account.

In contrast to many similar cut-off holders, this version is equipped with an eccentric clamping system. The biggest advantage of this clamping technology is the ease of use of the holder. The knife can be adjusted effortlessly with just one screw. The holder is adapted to the shape of the blade, ensuring precise and secure clamping.
The plunge-cut chisel is made from high-quality steel. The surface is hardened, ground and burnished. The burnished finish protects the surface against corrosion.
A replacement blade for the holder is also available from us.
