Low noise at all speeds

Small lathe for beginners

Description of the

The SIEG C2 is a 230 volt bench lathe with variable speed control. It is driven by a 250 watt brush motor. In order to achieve sufficient torque even at low speeds, the small lathe has a reduction gear. A lever on the back of the mini lathe can be used to select between the "fast" and "slow" speed ranges. The SIEG C2 is a lead screw lathe. It has a longitudinal feed for thread cutting. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this lathe. The speed controller, the toggle switch for the direction of rotation of the main spindle and the emergency stop button are located on the control panel. Ten metric thread pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 millimetres can be achieved using the interchangeable plastic gears included in the scope of delivery.

The SIEG SC2 is a 230-volt bench lathe with variable speed control. It is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 500 watts. The dynamic control ensures a high torque at all speeds. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the metal lathe extends from 100 to 2,500 rpm. The entire speed range is covered by one belt adjustment. The small lathe has a longitudinal feed for thread cutting. The SIEG SC2 is a lead screw turning machine. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this bench lathe. The control panel contains the speed controller, the toggle switch for the direction of rotation of the main spindle, the START and STOP switch and the emergency stop button. The SC2 is equipped with a digital vernier (switchable between mm and inches) on the cross slide and top slide as standard. Ten metric thread pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 millimetres can be achieved using the interchangeable steel gears included in the scope of delivery. The lathe can be optionally equipped with a digital speed display, the connection for which is already available.

The SIEG SC10 is a 230-volt metal lathe with variable speed control. This centre lathe and feed spindle lathe is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 1,500 watts. The dynamic control ensures a high torque in all speed ranges. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the SC10 extends from 100 to 2,000 rpm. It has a centre distance of 700 mm and a very solid machine bed. The large centre width, the 160 mm lathe chuck with camlock holder and the 300 mm orbital diameter above the machine bed allow even larger workpieces to be machined. The lathe has 14 longitudinal and 14 face feeds, 15 metric and 9 imperial thread pitches, which can be set via the feed gearbox. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this lathe. The direction of rotation and speed can be set at the touch of a button on the control panel. The speed display, the START and STOP buttons and the emergency stop button are also located on the control panel.

The SIEG SC4 is a 230 volt lathe with variable speed control. It has a combined lead and feed spindle and is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 1,000 watts. The dynamic control ensures a high torque in all speed ranges. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the hobby lathe extends from 100 to 2,000 rpm. It has a centre distance of 510 mm. The combined lead/traction spindle enables both longitudinal and face feed. An additional lock nut is integrated for thread cutting. To select the different feed speeds for turning and the different pitches for thread cutting, the required change gear combinations are used according to the change gear table. The lead/traction spindle is covered to prevent accidental intervention; this protection also prevents metal chips from sticking. This prevents unnecessary wear and possible damage to the lock nut. The SIEG SC4 lathe has two longitudinal and two face feeds, 17 metric and ten imperial thread pitches. The top slide, which can be rotated by ± 45°, can be adjusted in the direction of the X-axis via T-slots on the bed slide. The tailstock can also be moved for taper turning. The direction of rotation and speed can be set at the touch of a button on the control panel. The speed display, the START and STOP buttons and the emergency stop button are also located on the control panel.

The PM190-V is a 230 volt bench lathe with variable speed control. It is driven by a powerful 3-phase asynchronous motor, manufactured in Germany, with an output power of 550 watts. Thanks to the Austrian-made frequency converter, which is specially matched to the motor, and the four-stage reduction gear, the hobby lathe has sufficient torque even in the low speed ranges. The four speed ranges, which can be adjusted by changing the drive belts, cover speeds from 50 to 2,500 rpm. The lathe is equipped with an automatic longitudinal feed. To select the different feed speeds for turning and the different pitches for thread cutting, the required change gear combinations are used according to a table. The PM190-V has three longitudinal feeds, 14 metric and ten imperial thread pitches. All required metal change gears are included in the scope of delivery. The PM190-V is a lead screw lathe. The lead screw is completely covered to prevent accidental intervention, and this protection also prevents falling metal chips from sticking. This prevents unnecessary wear and possible damage to the lock nut. The guides on the cross and top slides can be adjusted backlash-free using wedge and pressure bars. The main spindle runs in precision tapered roller bearings, which can be readjusted if necessary. The top slide of the bench lathe can be rotated through 360°. The tailstock can also be moved for taper turning. The ON/OFF switch, the switch for clockwise/anticlockwise rotation, the speed display, the speed controller and the emergency stop button are located on the control box above the headstock.

The SIEG SC2H Black Edition is a special edition of the SIEG SC2. Compared to the SC2 standard version, the Black Edition machine has a large LED control panel and a speed display. Both the on/off and the direction of rotation functions are operated via LED-illuminated push buttons. The selected direction of rotation of the work spindle is displayed via LED-illuminated symbols on the control panel. The spindle speed can be finely adjusted using the potentiometer with illuminated graduations. The set speed can be read off the large LED speed display. Another feature of the Black Edition is the special black and red paint finish. The handwheels are made of red anodised aluminium with chrome-plated handles to match the look of the machine. The emergency stop button is located on the front of the control panel. The machine has two USB ports on the left-hand side, which can be used to connect a work light, smartphone or tablet, for example.
As with the SIEG SC2, the SIEG SC2H Black Edition is also a compact, robust 230-volt bench lathe with variable speed control. It is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 500 watts. The dynamic control ensures high torque at all speeds. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the metal lathe extends from 100 to 2,500 rpm. The entire speed range is covered by one belt adjustment. The small lathe has a longitudinal feed for thread cutting. The SIEG SC2H is a lead screw turning machine. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this bench lathe. Ten metric thread pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 millimetres can be achieved using the interchangeable steel gears included in the scope of delivery.

Jetzt in Rente dachte ich mir mach mal was anderes!
