Intended use
An insert is screwed or clamped into a tool holder (e.g. turning tool or milling cutter). In most cases, indexable inserts have several cutting edges. In order to increase the wear resistance, heat resistance and thus the service life of the insert, they are often coated with hard materials such as titanium nitride (TiN) or titanium aluminium nitride (TiAlN). Uncoated inserts are used for machining aluminium, non-ferrous metal or plastic. This type of insert is ground and polished and is also characterised by a highly positive geometry (prevents built-up edges).

Passend zum Drehmeißel Set.
Was soll man groß schreiben, die Wendeschneidplatten passen in die Meißel und schneiden gut. Zur Standzeit kann ich nichts sagen, dafür drehe ich zu wenig.
