Intended use
Drill chucks are used to clamp tools with a cylindrical shank, such as drills, countersinks, reamers, etc. Drill chucks are used in machine tools such as lathes, milling machines or drilling machines. Depending on the type of machine, a drill chuck with a suitable holder is required. A general distinction is made between drill chucks in which the tools are clamped with a spanner and drill chucks in which the tools can be clamped without a spanner, so-called quick-action drill chucks.

With this precision quick-action drill chuck, the taper arbor and the drill bit holder consist of one part, i.e. the taper arbor cannot be separated from the drill chuck. In contrast to drill chucks with an inserted taper arbor, this design enables a higher concentricity to be achieved. The taper arbor has a tightening thread in the steep taper and is therefore suitable for use on milling machines. The clamping range of this chuck is 1 to 16 mm. As the three clamping jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.
Note: Drill chucks are not suitable for milling work.

Prima, nur kleine Bohrer einspannen nervt tierisch
Das Bohrfutter ansich ist super. Nutze es in einer Sieg X3.5. Stabil, massiv, Rundlauf für meine Zwecke absolut ausreichend. Das einzige was wirklich kollossal nervt ist, wenn man kleine Bohrer <2mm spannen muss. Die eiern dann ständig und sie endlich rundlaufend einzuspannen braucht oft mehrere Anläufe, und das ist sehr fummelig. Ich habe mir mit einigen ER8-Spannzangenfuttern von einem chinesischen Anzeigenmarkt (für lächerlich wenig Geld) geholfen, die haben einen Spannschaft ø6mm und für die Bohrer in 1,1mm, 1,2mm und 1,6mm, die ich ständig brauche, habe ich noch passende Spannzangen erworben. Die Bohrer bleiben dauerhaft in ihren Futtern montiert. Damit geht es wiederholgenau und schnell. Wäre super wenn es solche Mini-Spannzangenfutter auch hierzulande gäbe. Vielleicht hat Paulimot ja Lust, sowas mal anzubieten - ich könnte noch einige gebrauchen, finde aber den Einzelversand aus China nicht sehr nachhaltig.

Für mich als motivierten Hobbybastler durchweg brauchbar. Saubere Verarbeitung, volle Funktion. Für mein Einsatzspektrum völlig ausreichend und hinreichend präzise. Ich baue natürlich keine Anlagen o.ä. auf ein Tausendstel - das kennt man und damit lebt und orientiert man sich anhand der Daten. Preis/Leistung sind überzeugend.
