Intended use
A planer and thicknesser is used to machine raw or warped wooden boards with precision. During planing, one side of the timber is made flat and square, whilst during thickness planing, the opposite side is planed to a specified thickness and aligned parallel to the planed surface. The machine is indispensable for precise, dimensionally accurate woodworking – particularly in furniture making and interior fit-out.

Description of the
This sturdy and compact surface and thickness planer, complete with a mobile base frame, is suitable for planing solid and softwood beams measuring up to 160 x 300 mm. Its powerful 1,800-watt motor provides sufficient power for both planing and thickness planing. When thickness planing, a chip removal of up to two millimetres is possible; when surface planing, up to three millimetres. The machine can be converted from surface planing to thickness planing in just a few simple steps. Height adjustment for thickness planing is carried out using a hand crank, whilst for surface planing the adjustment is made via a rotary knob. To make thickness planing easier, the planing table can be swivelled to the side on the feed-in side of the machine. The planing stop is infinitely adjustable from 90° to 135°. Maximum safety during planing is ensured by the extendable and height-adjustable planer shaft guard. The base frame is mobile and can be lowered via a mechanism. This ensures that the machine stands securely on its rubber feet during planing, which enable vibration-dampened operation. The integrated extraction system, including a collection bag, ensures that work is carried out with as little dust as possible.
