Intended use
A bevel chisel is used in woodturning to work on spindle stock and is designed to cut clean chamfers, curves and straight surfaces. It produces very smooth surfaces and precise contours through pulling cuts. Due to its cutting edge geometry, it is suitable for both fine detail work and for shaping longer sections of spindle wood. The bevel chisel is frequently used for finishing work, as it produces a particularly clean cut.

Description of the
This skew chisel has a 25 mm wide and 160 mm long blade made from W4Mo3Cr4V1 HSS steel. The high-speed steel achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC and therefore offers good wear resistance and stable cutting performance for spindle work. The long, bevelled cutting edge enables precise pulling cuts and produces clean surfaces on chamfers, curves and straight sections. With an overall length of 460 mm and a 300 mm long handle made of ash wood, the tool is well-balanced in the hand and supports controlled guidance both for finer detail work and when finishing longer spindle surfaces.
