Description of the

This drilling machine vice is sturdily manufactured and mounted on a swivel head so that it can be rotated through 360°. The slewing ring can be clamped to the machine table using the four slotted holes. The vice can be separated from the swivel head by loosening the two locking screws and can therefore also be used without it. Separated from the slewing ring, the vice can be attached to a machine table using the six elongated holes on the side. The guide of the movable jaw is designed to prevent the jaw from tilting when clamping on one side. Secondly, the handle is designed as a sleeve spindle, i.e. the spindle for the movable jaw runs protected inside the handle. The overall length including the handle does not change when the movable jaw is unscrewed. A cross hole is provided at the end of the handle. A shaft with the appropriate diameter can be inserted into this cross hole, which can then be used as a lever to increase the clamping force. As the vice is made of solid cast steel, it has a comparatively high dead weight, which increases stability during the drilling process. The jaws, one of which has horizontal and vertical prisms, are made of steel and ground.
