Knurling tool with turret, 16 x 16 mm
Intended use
Using knurling tools, a profile is imprinted onto a shaft by pressure forming. Depending on the type of knurling tool, it is possible, for example, to produce axial knurling or cross-knurling. Knurling can be used to make smooth surfaces on shafts more grippy. This technique is often used on adjusting screws, vice handles or various screw-type fastenings.

Description of the
This knurling tool has a stable design thanks to its 16 x 16 mm shaft. The turret makes it quick and easy to switch between the three knurling wheel sizes, eliminating the need for tedious and time-consuming changing of knurling wheel sizes. The knurled screw on the side is used to fix the set knurling wheel size. Cross knurls with 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mm can be produced. The knurling wheels are made of hardened carbon steel.
