Description of the
This 10-piece twist drill set for metalworking contains drill bits with nominal diameters of three to ten millimetres. The drill bits are made of HSS steel. They have a TiN coating to increase their service life. They can be inserted directly into the chuck of a cordless screwdriver via their 1/4" hex shank.
The 135° drill bit tip with four cutting edges ensures a fast and precise drilling start. These four cutting edges produce smaller drill chips, which reduces heat build-up and therefore increases the service life of the drill bit. The spiral back, which is wide and tapered towards the clamping shank, reinforces the core and increases the durability of the entire flute. The set is supplied in a plastic case.

The 135° drill bit tip with cross-grinding in accordance with DIN 1412 C enables precise spot drilling without centre punching. The THUNDERWEB spiral shape ensures rapid chip evacuation and therefore less heat generation and therefore a longer tool life. Compared to a roll-rolled twist drill, these drills can achieve up to 40 % faster drilling progress and up to 50 % lower feed force.
