Description of the
The moulding rule included in this set is made of hardwood (rosewood), making it very robust and suitable for everyday use. The rod has a length of 130 mm, the stop has a basic size of 40 x 35 mm. The knurled brass screw allows the fence to be fixed in place so that marking lines parallel to the edge of the workpiece can be easily scribed.
The joiner's square is also very robust. The leg is made of rosewood with brass fittings, the ground spring steel tongue is fixed in the leg with three brass rivets. The leg is 60 mm long, the tongue measures 100 mm. This tool can be used to check right angles or create marking lines at right angles to the contact surface.
The handle of the joiner's square is made of rosewood and has brass fittings. The tongue is made of spring steel and can be fixed in place using a brass screw. The tongue has a length of 100 mm. This tool makes it very easy to transfer undefined angles to other workpieces.
The body of the block plane is made of hardwood (rosewood) and the fittings are made of brass. The adjustable plane iron allows the desired chip thickness to be set. The carbon steel plane blade is hardened and ground. The inclination and cutting angle of the blade is approx. 45°. The blade locking screw is made of brass. This planer is particularly suitable for filigree work.
