Description of the
This parting tool has a 19 mm wide and 160 mm long blade made from W4Mo3Cr4V1 HSS steel. The high-performance high-speed steel achieves a hardness of 57-63 HRC and therefore offers good wear resistance and stable cutting performance for spindle work. The narrow, longitudinal cutting edge geometry enables precise grooving and parting work as well as the creation of defined diameters and grooves. With an overall length of 415 mm and a 255 mm long handle made of ash wood, the tool is balanced in the hand and supports controlled guidance for dimensionally accurate machining and when cutting off finished workpiece sections.
