Intended use
A quick-change steel holder set is a precise and efficient clamping system for lathes to enable the quick change of turning steels, boring bars or other tools. The steel holder with the clamped tool is correctly aligned to the centre of the machine spindle just once. This positioning is fixed using a lock nut and is therefore set to the correct height each time the steel holder is reinserted into the base body. The base body of the system is firmly mounted on the top slide of the lathe and forms the basis of the system. The steel holder is the interchangeable component in which the turning tools are clamped. The system's fine-toothed ratchet system enables repeatable alignment of the tool without the need for readjustment.

I have bought both size Aa and
I have bought both size Aa and Ab from Paulimot, excellent service and fast shipping as always. For my use case size Ab is just right used on a Sieg SC4, gives the rigidity l need. Be aware that that the largest tool size is 10x10 without any modification on either tool holder or tool on the SC4.
