Intended use
A thread gauge is used to determine thread pitches in the metric and imperial range. As a rule, only external threads are determined with a thread gauge. The light gap cannot be checked for internal threads.

Description of the
To determine the thread pitch, the thread comb is placed vertically on the thread and held against a bright light source. If a light gap is visible, the next larger or next smaller thread template is used until no more light gap is visible between the gauge comb and the thread. The determined thread pitch can then be read off the gauge blade.

Es ist keine Gewinde L E H R E sondern eine Gewindeschablone
Eine Gewindelehre für z.B. metrischem * Außengewinde sieht ähnlich einer Mutter aus * Innengewinde sieht ähnlich einer Schraube aus. Damit prüft man Gewinde nach einer vorgezeigten Prozedur. siehe auch: https://www.gewindebohrer.de/de/produkte/gewindelehren

Gewindelehre metrisch / zoll aus Federstahl
Die Gewindelehre welche ich erhalten habe, hatte einen Fehler. Die kompetenten und freundlichen Mitarbeiter von Paulimot haben mir umgehend eine neue kostenfrei zugesandt. Da können sich andere Firmen ein Beispiel nehmen. Ich bin vollends zufrieden und werde weiterhin hier einkaufen.
