Intended use
Indexable inserts are used in machining and are mounted on the turning tools or milling cutters intended for this purpose. Thanks to these geometric properties, particularly good surface results can be achieved. The highly positive geometry reduces the formation of a so-called built-up edge when machining aluminium. Very good results can also be achieved when machining both cast iron and plastics.
