A measuring system makes it possible to record both linear movements and angular changes on lathes and milling machines using suitable sensors and to clearly display the determined values on a screen. In addition, such position measuring systems can be easily retrofitted to existing machines or individually configured from suitable components for your own lathe or milling machine. Glass scale measuring system sets
Glass scale measuring systems are used for the linear measurement of distances. A read head moves along a glass scale. The coding applied there is registered photo-electrically, converted into distance in the connected computer and shown on a display. This allows the actual position of a workpiece or tool to be displayed in a coordinate system.
Magnetic tape measuring system sets
A magnetic tape measuring system is used to precisely record linear travel distances. A read head moves along a magnetic tape and reads the coding stored on it. The signals recorded are converted into distance values by the connected evaluation unit and shown on a display. In this way, the exact position of a workpiece or tool within a coordinate system can be determined.
