Intended use
An automatic centre punch can be used to mark or centre punch workpieces without using a hammer. The automatic centre punch is placed on the workpiece to be marked. A spring mechanism inside the centre punch triggers the self-impact effect when it is pressed down from a certain point, marking or centre punching the workpiece.

Description of the
The resharpenable tip of this automatic centre punch is made from hardened spring steel with a hardness of 40 to 50 HRC. The knurling on the brass handle ensures a non-slip surface.
To centre punch, the tip of the centre punch is placed on the scribed point and then the handle is pressed down vertically until the internal spring mechanism is released. This creates a clean marking or centre punch. This process can be repeated several times in succession to make a deeper mark.
The impact force can be infinitely adjusted by changing the spring pressure by turning the knurled cap.
