Intended use
An automatic centre punch can be used to mark or centre punch workpieces without using a hammer. The automatic centre punch is placed on the workpiece to be marked. A spring mechanism inside the centre punch triggers the self-impact effect when it is pressed down from a certain point, marking or centre punching the workpiece.

The resharpenable tip of this automatic centre punch is made from hardened spring steel with a hardness of 40 to 50 HRC. The knurling on the nickel-plated brass handle ensures a non-slip surface. The ergonomically shaped hand knob allows the hand force to be optimally transferred to the centre punch or to the spring mechanism.
To centre punch, the tip of the centre punch is placed on the scribed point and then the handle is pressed down vertically until the internal spring mechanism is released. This produces a clean marking or centre punch. This process can be repeated several times in succession to make a deeper mark. The impact force can be infinitely adjusted by changing the spring pressure by turning the knurled cap.

With the bell-shaped centre punch, round materials up to a diameter of 35 mm can be punched effortlessly. Thanks to the movable tip, the workpiece is inserted into the bell-shaped opening as far as it will go, depending on the size. The centre punch can therefore be precisely centred.

Nicht wirklich zuverlässig
Leider löst der Körner auch nach Beachtung der Hinweise von Paulimot nicht so zuverlässig aus wie erwartet (vielleicht sollte ich zusätzlich ein Gedicht aufsagen?), aber eine Rückgabe lohnt sich nicht wirklich. Als außergewöhnlich kompetent und schnell muss ich jedoch den Service von Paulimot loben, der mir die Funktionsweise einschl. möglicher Fehlerquellen detailreich erläutern und die "Klick-Rate" deutlich erhöhen konnte. Danke dafür!
