Intended use
Hallmarks and countersinks are used in the blacksmith's, goldsmith's, watchmaker's and leatherworking trades, among others. They are used as tools in metal and leatherworking. Punches are used to drive in patterns, symbols, moulds or ornaments. One type of hallmark is the ball punch. In conjunction with the cube flank, spherical moulds can be produced on the workpiece.

This deformation set made of tool steel contains 36 ball punches with diameters from 3.5 to 25.0 millimetres. The punches are hardened and polished.
The cube, flat and grooved flanks included in the scope of delivery are also made of tool steel and are additionally hardened.
The cube flank contains 21 spherical dies with diameters from 4.5 to 45.5 mm.
The flat flank has 27 spherical dies with diameters from 3 to 25 mm.
The grooved flank (semicircular, V-shaped, flat) has 10 semicircular dies with diameters of 2.5 to 26 mm, 7 V-grooves with a width of 2.5 to 11.5 mm and 5 flat grooves with a width of 3 to 7 mm.
The second scoring groove (semicircular) has 10 semicircular dies with diameters of 4.7 to 19 mm.
A beechwood stand is included in this set for easy storage.
