Intended use
A tapered wiper is used to clean tool holders in machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, woodturning lathes or drilling machines. Its tapered shape allows the inner cones to be cleaned, reliably removing swarf, dirt and oil residues. The felt surfaces ensure gentle yet thorough cleaning and care of the precision surfaces. Regular use of a tapered cleaning brush prevents tools from falling out due to a poor fit in the spindle, stops the tool from seizing, maintains the accuracy of the tool holder and reduces spindle wear.
