Intended use

A belt and tube grinder is used for surface finishing of metal tubes, profiles and surfaces. It can be used to deburr, grind, polish or prepare workpieces for subsequent processing steps. By using different rollers and grinding belts, the machine can be flexibly adapted to different diameters and types of material. It is primarily used in metal construction, metalworking and training workshops.

Description of the

The RS2000 belt and pipe sander in the 400-volt version is designed for professional use in workshops and metalworking businesses. Thanks to the two-speed motor, the sander can be operated at two different belt speeds. The robust construction with a solid steel stand ensures high stability and low-vibration operation. The 400 x 100 mm surface grinding table is located on the top of the machine. When the surface grinding table is not in use, it can be completely covered by a flap. The front grinding area on the contact roller is particularly suitable for machining edges, radii and profiled workpieces. In addition, the machine features a rear grinding area, which can be utilised by reversing the direction of the grinding belt, thus enabling even more flexible operation. A contact roller with a diameter of 40 mm is fitted as standard; seven additional rollers with diameters of 18, 22, 30, 33, 48, 63 and 74 mm are also included in the scope of delivery. The transparent spark guard made of Plexiglas is adjustable and ensures safe operation. An adjustable workpiece stop is located at both sanding areas. Two removable chip trays with 75 mm diameter extraction ports allow connection to an external extraction system, ensuring a clean working environment. For quick belt changes, the machine is equipped with a practical clamping device that allows tool-free belt replacement. The sanding belt is automatically re-tensioned by a spring-assisted belt tensioning system, making replacement and operation particularly convenient. There are four holes in the base of the subframe for floor mounting.
