Intended use
Drilling, facing or boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable the perpendicular facing of the end faces of bores or the boring of very precise, round bores. This means that extremely precise bores with interference fits can be produced on conventional milling machines. This is of great advantage, for example, when manufacturing bearing seats.

Description of the
This boring / boring head is made of steel. The head diameter is 38 mm. The drill head can be fitted with interchangeable clamping shanks via the M14 x 1.0 mounting thread. This means that this tool can be used on milling machines with different tool holders. The drill carriage is adjusted manually via the adjusting spindle, the feed accuracy is 0.01 mm. Suitable boring bars can be clamped in the boring head via the locating holes on the boring slide.
