Intended use
This adapter flange is designed to mount lathe chucks or collet chucks with a cylindrical rear face on lathes with a D1-5 Camlock spindle mount. It enables a precise and stable connection between the machine spindle and the chuck and forms the basis for a workpiece clamping with high concentricity.

Description of the
This adapter flange with D1-5 Camlock mount is used for mounting lathe chucks or collet flanges with a cylindrical mount. It is particularly suitable for mounting chucks or flanges with a diameter of 200 mm and a three-hole mounting. Machine-side attachment to the lathe is performed via the D1-5 Camlock interface in accordance with DIN 55029. This quick-change system enables a secure, backlash-free and repeatable connection between the spindle and the adapter flange. On the chuck side, the adapter flange is pre-machined. The centring shoulder and the flat contact surface are oversized and must be finished on the respective lathe whilst the adapter is mounted. Finishing on the machine ensures optimal alignment with the spindle axis, thereby achieving the best possible concentricity of the chuck once it is mounted.
