Intended use
A clamping bracket is used, amongst other things, to align a workpiece vertically with the machine table. To do this, the clamping bracket is mounted on the machine table and the workpiece is secured using the clamping slots on the bracket. Clamping brackets are also used for marking-out and inspection work on a straightedge.
