Assembly
The clamping element (step block) with a slotted hole is fastened so that one end rests on the body to be clamped and the other end rests on a step clamp. The stud bolt is attached as close as possible to the workpiece and fixed at the lower end to a plate or the machine table. A collar nut is fitted to the upper end of the stud bolt. This applies the clamping force by tightening it firmly so that the workpiece can no longer slip. This allows you to work safely and quickly on the workpiece.
