This set consists of six coasters made of natural slate and a wooden storage box. The slate plates are square with an edge length of 100 mm. The thickness can vary between three and six millimetres, depending on the slate. Four foam glides are glued to the underside of the coasters. These protect sensitive surfaces from damage. The paulimot logo is created using a fibre laser, after which the slate is coated with clear varnish by hand. The storage box is made of poplar wood. The side panels are manufactured with extreme precision using a C02 laser, ensuring a permanently stable connection between the individual parts. The side panels and base are also glued together. Due to the fact that both the coasters and the storage box are natural products, each set is unique.
