Intended use
A cross table is used on both milling and drilling machines. As a cross table can be moved in both the X and Y axes, the workpiece can be positioned exactly under the tool. This allows precise drilling and milling work to be carried out.

Description of the
This cross table is sturdy and solidly made of cast steel. The work table is ground on all sides. It has two through T-slots for T-nuts with M10 thread. The workpiece is fixed in the desired position on the worktable using clamping claws, hold-down clamps or similar. The cross table can be moved in the X and Y directions using the large handwheels fitted with a vernier. A measuring scale on the Y-axis allows the travel distance to be read quickly and easily. The dovetail guides can be adjusted backlash-free using pressure bars. The spindle of the Y-axis is protected from falling chips by a drag plate.

Maßabweichung nicht sofort erklärlich
Der Kreuztisch war wegen Lackschäden als Schnäppchen gekennzeichnet. Der Preis war äußerst attraktiv. Nach Erhalt des Tisches musste ich feststellen, dass er über die Diagonale gemessen um 0,26 mm in der Höhe abwich. Das ist nun kein großes Problem und lässt sich mit Nacharbeit beheben. Allerdings ist nicht sofort logisch, warum bei der kleinen Fläche eine solche Abweichung auftreten soll. Zusammengefasst für mich ein Schnäppchen zu einem tollen Preis.
