A cross table is used on both milling and drilling machines. As a cross table can be moved in both the X and Y axes, the workpiece can be positioned exactly under the tool. This allows precise drilling and milling work to be carried out.

Description of the

This cross table is made of aluminium and is therefore particularly suitable for light drilling and milling work. The work table has three continuous T-slots with a width of 8 mm for T-nuts with M6 thread. The workpiece is fixed in the desired position on the worktable using clamping claws, hold-down clamps or similar. The cross table can be moved in the X and Y directions using the handwheels fitted with a vernier. The travel distance can be read quickly and easily via a sliding measuring scale on the X-axis. The dovetail guides can be adjusted backlash-free using pressure bars. The spindle of the Y-axis is protected from falling chips by a cover.

Kreuztisch auf meiner Drechselbank

Ich weiß, der Kreuztisch dafür nicht gedacht ist, aber er ist eine tolle Erweiterung für meine Drechselbank. Ein netter Mitarbeiter machte ich darauf aufmerksam, das unter den schwarzen Kunstoffkappen, gegenūber der Handkurbel für X und Y eine Mutter sitzt, die die Spindel fixiert. Ich habe mir in eine passende Nuss eine 10mm Schraube eingeklebt. Auf den Kreuztisch eine Halterung fūr meinen Fräsmotor montiert und kann nun den Fräsmotor mit dem Akkuschrauber gleichmässig bewegen. Das Ergebnis mit einem 45 grad Fräser ergibt in einem gewölbtem Deckel wunderschöne Blütenblätter. Ich bedaure keine Fotos einsetzen zu können, denn 3 Fotos hätte es sicher besser erklärt. Ich bin von der Kombination und den Möglichkeiten begeistert.

Für leichte Arbeiten gut geeignet

Der Kreuztisch ist für leichte Bearbeitungen von Holzkleinteilen (bohren, fräsen) gut geeignet. Die Führungen sind spielfrei einstellbar trotzdem gut gängig. Präzises Anfahren von x-y-Positionen ist möglich. Die Nonius-Skalen sind klein und schlecht ablesbar. Die Handräder sind etwas zu gering im Durchmesser, aber der Tisch lässt sind trotzdem gut verfahren auch beim Fräsen. Insgesmt für den Preis ein guter, brauchbarer Kreuztisch. Für schwerere Metallbearbeitung sollten stabile Guss-Kreuztische gewählt werden. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und problemlos.
