Intended use
A quick-change steel holder set is a precise and efficient clamping system for lathes to enable the quick change of turning steels, boring bars or other tools. The steel holder with the clamped tool is correctly aligned to the centre of the machine spindle just once. This positioning is fixed using a lock nut and is therefore set to the correct height each time the steel holder is reinserted into the base body. The base body of the system is firmly mounted on the top slide of the lathe and forms the basis of the system. The steel holder is the interchangeable component in which the turning tools are clamped. The system's fine-toothed ratchet system enables repeatable alignment of the tool without the need for readjustment.

This set consists of the base body, four steel holders, a clamping spanner and a square spanner. Size C is recommended for lathes with a top slide width of 150 to 190 mm. Tools with a shank height of up to 32 mm can be clamped in the steel holders.
