Intended use
Bandsaws are used for sawing wood, metal, plastics, textiles, leather, aerated concrete, etc. However, the main area of application is woodworking. The band saw blade is guided by two wheels, enabling an endless, uninterrupted cut. Depending on the thickness of the saw blade used, both straight and curved cuts can be produced. Circular cuts are also possible with the aid of special devices.

Description of the
The MJ16 bandsaw is a powerful and versatile machine. It is characterised by its high precision and robust construction. This robust design and the resulting high dead weight ensure stability and minimise vibrations, making it ideal for demanding cutting work. The two heavy ball-bearing mounted, rubberised cast spoke wheels ensure that the band saw blade runs very smoothly. The 535 x 485 mm saw table can also be used to make curved cuts with ease. The saw table can be swivelled by up to 45° via a toothed segment. Both the rip fence itself and the fence guide are very solid and precisely manufactured. The height of the sturdy saw blade guide is infinitely adjustable. This allows the workpiece passage to be perfectly adapted to the height of the workpiece to be sawn. The saw blade is supported in the upper and lower guide by ball bearings at the side and front. This bearing is of course adjustable. With two cutting speeds (500 or 750 m/min.) and the option of using saw bands from 6 to 25 mm, extensive and diverse sawing work can be carried out. A saw blade with a width of 20 mm is clamped in the delivery state. The saw blade can be changed quickly and easily using a quick-release lever. Both the viewing window for reading the band tension and the LED work light make working with this wood band saw much easier. The chip scraper on the lower roller and the connection socket for an extraction system are further plus points of this saw.
