Intended use
A centre punch (often also called a centre point or rolling centre punch) is one of the most important tools when working with a lathe. It is used to secure the tailstock so that long, thin and heavy workpieces can be machined safely and accurately. With thirteen interchangeable inserts, this set offers you a wide range of possible applications. The outer tapers are particularly suitable for centring hollow bodies such as pipes. The inner tapers included in the set can also be used to centre workpieces without a centre. The eight centring points allow you to carry out delicate work on the workpiece. Centre punches are mainly used at higher speeds.

In contrast to fixed centre points, the tip of live centre points rotates with the workpiece, which prevents friction and enables higher speeds.

Preislich sehr zu empfehlen! Verarbeitung ist echt gut!
Die Qualität passt meines Erachtens. Sauber geschliffene Kegel ohne Grate. Rundlauf ist sehr gut. Die Auswahl an Innen- und Aussenkegel ist sehr groß und deckt viele Bereiche gut ab. In den Morsekegel muss noch eine Inbusschraube oder ähnliches, sonst lässt sich die Spitze nicht aus dem Reitstock drücken. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen, bin sehr zufrieden damit!
