Description of the

The pair of prisms allows you to clamp, mark out, align or check a cylindrical workpiece in parallel.

Each prism has two milled V-slots with a 90° angle for clamping round material. The stable clamp allows the prism blocks to be used on the side surface including the base. It should be emphasised that the clamping brackets of this pair of prisms do not protrude beyond the blocks, which means that each prism has 6 support surfaces.
The small prism has a clamping range from 4 to 28 mm, the large prism from 4 to 38 mm. This means you can clamp round material with a diameter of 4 to 38 mm.

The parallelism of opposing surfaces, the parallelism and perpendicularity of the V-grooves in relation to all surfaces and the perpendicularity of the neighbouring outer surfaces is 0.01 mm. The flatness of the working surfaces is 0.005 mm.

The pair of prisms is made of steel, has a hardness of 55 to 60 HRC and is precision ground on all sides.

The prism block has three magnetic contact surfaces (top, bottom and back), which can be switched on and off together with a switch. The magnetic force can be infinitely adjusted using the rotary switch.

V-grooves are milled into the top and bottom of the clamping block. Workpieces up to a diameter of 4 - 60 mm can be clamped in the larger groove, while workpieces up to a diameter of 4 - 30 mm fit in the smaller groove.

Prismen mit praktischer BĂ¼gelbefestigung und kleinem Manko

Die Prismen sind fĂ¼r den normalen Gebrauch ausreichend winkelgetreu. Sogar die Stirnflächen. Durch die besondere Anordnung der Befestigungsnuten fĂ¼r die HaltebĂ¼gel, lässt sich das Prisma nach dem Spannen des Werkzeugs um 90° drehen. Damit lassen sich z.B 2 Bohrungen rechtwinklig zueinander anbringen. Das beide Nuten im Prismengrund gleich breit sind, ist weniger praktisch. Beim kleineren Prisma sollte die Nut auch schmaler sein, um kleinere Durchmesser noch sicher spannen zu können.

Geniales Produkt

Preis/Leistung passen soweit. Ich vermisse lediglich eine Möglichkeit die Prismen per Spnnbacken auf dem Frästisch zu fixieren.
