Description of the
The moulding rule included in this set is made of hardwood (rosewood), making it very robust and suitable for everyday use. The stick has a length of 270 mm, the fence has a basic size of 65 x 55 mm. The knurled brass screw allows the fence to be fixed in place so that marking lines parallel to the edge of the workpiece can be easily scribed.
The joiner's square is also very robust. The leg is made of rosewood with brass fittings, the polished spring steel tongue is fixed in the leg with three brass rivets. The leg is 160 mm long, the tongue measures 270 mm. This tool can be used to check right angles or create marking lines at right angles to the contact surface.
The handle of the joiner's square is made of rosewood and has brass fittings. The tongue is made of spring steel and can be fixed in place using a brass screw. The tongue has a length of 225 mm. This tool makes it very easy to transfer indeterminate angles to other workpieces.
The housing of the one-hand planer included in the set is made of ductile cast iron. The adjustable jaw and the depth adjustment of the blade enable both levelling and fine work when planing. The large brass knurled screws make it easy to adjust the plane. The blade width is 35 mm.
The finishing plane from this set is particularly suitable for planing work in woodworking. The two handles are made of rosewood and the blade can be adjusted very precisely using a large brass knurled screw. The planer is equipped with a chip breaker. The blade width is 50 mm.
