The knurling wheel set has six interchangeable knurling wheels with which you can make different knurls.
Three of the six knurling wheels can be used to produce fine, medium and coarse cross knurls. The pitch of the fine cross knurling wheel is 0.5 mm, that of the medium cross knurling wheel is 1.0 mm and that of the coarse cross knurling wheel is 1.5 mm. The other three knurling wheels can be used to produce parallel-axis grooves, whereby the pitch is also 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm and 1.5 mm.
The knurling wheels are made of high-quality alloy steel and the knurling tool holder is made of burnished steel.

Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Es gibt eine kleine Einschränkung bei der Befestigung des Rändelrades. Hier ist der Einschlagdorn nicht so glĂ¼cklich gewählt. Aber da eine Drehbank in der Nähe ist đŸ˜‰, hat man ja schnell einen Stift mit sicherungsring gedreht. DafĂ¼r ist der Preis aber auch sehr gut. Daher auch 5 Sterne von mir.

Grundsätzlich bin ich sehr zufrieden. Allerdiungs ist das wechseln der Räder nicht optimal. Ich habe die Vermutung, dass der Bolzen nach einigem Gebrauch nicht mehr funktioniert. Eine Schraube wäre wohl besser.

Funktional mit kleinen Unvollkommenheiten
Das Rändelwerkzeug funktioniert bei Buntmetallen ausgezeichnet, die gedrehten KlemmbĂ¼gel-Muttern aus Messing fĂ¼r einige zu restaurierende Smiths-Autoinstrumente gerieten perfekt. Die einzige Einschränkung ist die Detaillösung der Lagerung des Rändelrädchend. Dieser Lagerbolzen ist offenbar verstemmt, lieĂŸ sich kaum entfernen, die Richtung ist nicht gekennzeichnet, das geht höchstens ein paar Mal gut ... Vielleicht könnte der Hersteller hier etwas "ingenieurischer"vorgehen. Bei mir tut jetzt eine Senkschraube M4 Dienst, erforderte aber das Umarbeiten des Werkzeugs. Zum Zweck der unverlierbaren Aufbewahrung der Rädchen habe ich in die hintere Stirnfläche einen kleinen M4-Stehbolzen eingepasst, auf dem die Ă¼brigen Rädchen aufgefädelt und von einer (gerändelten! ;-)) Mutter gehalten werden.
