Intended use
A dividing attachment, also known colloquially as a rotary table, is used for machining on milling machines. A dividing attachment can be used to produce both uniform and non-uniform hole patterns on a full circle. Another possible application is the radial machining of a shaft, such as the production of offset grooves. Dividing attachments are also frequently used to produce regular profiles, for example to manufacture gears.

Description of the
This dividing attachment is ground on all sides and has a digital angle display. The set or travelled angle can be read in decimal as well as in degrees and angular minutes, which makes operation much easier. The rotary table can be used vertically or horizontally. In order to be able to align the dividing head with the T-slots of the work table when used horizontally, blocks are already mounted on the rotary table. This enables alignment parallel to the axis. A mounting flange for an 80 mm lathe chuck (3- and 4-hole holder) including fastening material is included as standard. Also included are two clamping claws with sliding blocks for clamping on a work table and two rings for using the matching indexing disc set.

In order to be able to align the dividing head with the T-slots of the work table when used horizontally, blocks are already mounted on the rotary table. This enables alignment parallel to the axis. Also included are two clamping claws with sliding blocks for clamping on a work table and two rings for using the matching indexing disc set.
With this dividing attachment, the dividing disc sits directly on the axis of rotation. The 24 indexing points evenly positioned on the bolt circle result in a 15° pitch on the full circle. This means that the pitches T = 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 and 24 can be realised with this dividing head. The turntable is always locked when the detent pin in the housing engages in one of the detents. The setting can be fixed using a clamping lever. The attached 360° scale makes it easier to adjust the rotary table. An 80 mm three-jaw chuck is already mounted on the turntable. The housing of the dividing head is ground on two sides so that it can be clamped horizontally and vertically on the milling table using clamping grooves.

Nice machine
Feels very solid and reliable. For a professional it may not be very necessary, but as a hobbyist it is really, really nice to have the digital measure. So many things already to worry about when grinding gears.
