Caliper with clock 0 - 150 mm, carbon steel

Intended use

A caliper gauge - often also called a sliding caliper - is used to measure lengths as well as external and internal diameters. Depending on the design of the caliper gauge, a so-called depth gauge may also be available, which can be used to measure the depth of blind holes, for example. Calipers are available both as analogue versions with vernier or clock and with a digital reading unit.

This caliper allows you to measure lengths between 0 and 100 mm. Due to its design, it is only suitable to a limited extent for determining internal diameters from 6 mm. Due to its small overall size, the caliper gauge can be easily stored in a work jacket and thus enables the quick determination of e.g. bar diameters, sheet thicknesses and screw diameters in the material store. The thickness of leather or plastics can also be easily determined. As the caliper gauge is made of brass, it leaves virtually no scratches on the measured materials.
