Intended use
Auger bits are particularly suitable for deep-hole drilling in softwood and European hardwood, such as beech and oak. They are not suitable for tropical hardwoods.
Drill bits up to a diameter of 20 mm are used in hand drills or powerful cordless screwdrivers.

Our auger bits are made from high-quality, hardened carbon tool steel. This choice of material enables high cutting performance and resilience. The auger bit is also equipped with a centring tip, which enables very precise centring of the drill bit. A retractable thread on the centre point pulls the drill bit into the wood so that less pressure needs to be exerted when drilling.
While a clean and tear-free hole edge can also be produced at low speeds thanks to the pre-cutter, the auger bit also impresses with very good chip removal.
The auger bit is suitable for drilling through holes in beams and rafters as well as for making deep blind holes.
A taper in the direction of the clamping shank of 1:50 to 1:100 is intended to prevent jamming in the hole.
The set is supplied in a practical wooden box.

Die Bohrer sind ok, aber die Kiste dazu paßt nicht zu der wertig aussehenden Bohrern. Durch den Transport ist sie etwas eingedrückt

Die Preis-Leistung ist wie immer Klasse. Die Bohrer kamen gut verpackt im zeitlichen Rahmen an. (Daumen hoch) die Bohrer hatten an der Schneide einen leichten Grat, welcher jedoch mit einer Nadelfeile rasch beseitigt werden konnte. Nach ein paar Bohrungen, bin ich immernoch überzeugt von dem Produkt.
