Intended use
Height scribers, also known as parallel scribers, are used for scribing lines parallel to the support surface. The carbide-tipped height marker can be used to easily and precisely transfer dimension lines to a workpiece on a straight and level surface.

This high-quality scribing tool enables lines to be scribed parallel to the support surface.
The mechanic's height marker / parallel marker consists of a base body and a 300 mm long column. A second column with a length of 225 mm is also included in the scope of delivery The scriber is hardened and has a straight tip at one end and an angled tip at the other. The needle can be rotated and swivelled and can be fixed in any position on the column. This means that even hard-to-reach areas can be scribed.
The adjustment screw enables fine adjustment and therefore precise handling. Thanks to the prismatic support, the mechanic's height marker can be used on both flat and round surfaces.
The base of the mechanic's height marker is hardened and ground and serves as a reference surface.

Nichts auszusetzen, aber...!
Grundsätzlich ist der Höhenreisser ja OK für den Preis, aber der Kontrast der Skala ist nicht gerade hoch. Für jene, die langsam mit dem grauen Star zu kämpfen haben (60+), empfehle ich einen digitalen Höhenreisser; den etwas höheren Preis ist es wert!

Für den Preis voll in Ordnung. die
Für den Preis voll in Ordnung. die Verstellung (die Gewindestange mit Rändelung) zwichen dem Arm mit Nonius und der Klemmeng für das grobe Einstellen ist allerdings so kurz, dass ich die direkt ganz heraus gedreht hatte ohne es zu wollen, deshalb ,wenn man mehrer Maße einstellen will muss man auch die grobe Verstellung lösen. das Rändelrad ist etwas klein im Durchmesser, mit Kalten oder öligen Fingern kaum zu greifen.
