A guide carriage runs under the movable clamping jaw, which moves the clamping jaw forwards and pulls it downwards at the same time. The vice can be rotated and is equipped with an angle scale, making it easy and convenient to carry out angle milling.
Using the guide blocks included in the scope of delivery, the vice can be quickly and easily aligned parallel to the grooves in the worktable.

This two-part, very solid pull-down vice is made of nodular cast iron (cast iron with spheroidal graphite). Spheroidal graphite cast iron is a type of cast iron that has mechanical properties similar to steel due to the carbon contained in its spherical shape.
The replaceable jaws made of C45E steel are hardened and ground. The grooves milled into the jaws increase the holding force, making it more difficult for the workpiece to slip out. This two-part vice can be used to clamp both larger workpieces and workpieces whose clamping surfaces are not parallel to each other on the machine table.

Der Service machts halt aus...
Mit meinem Exemplar stimmte wohl, wie wir zusammen mit Jan und Michael vor Ort sichern konnten, irgendwas nicht, jedoch lag es nur an mir, da ich es immer auf die lange Bank geschoben hatte. Jetzt, nach längerer Zeit hoffte ich auf Ersatzteile aber was mich da erwartete, toppt halt alles. Mir wurde der Schraubstock 1:1 gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht! Dass gerade China Massenware nicht immer gut sein kann, das muss jedem einleuchten aber was die vertreibende Firma gerade in solchen Fällen daraus macht, das ist der riesengroße Unterschied. Hier wieder absolut volle Punktzahl und ein Riesen fettes Dankeschön an alle Beteiligten. Der neue Schraubstock ist super, die Kanten sind bereits entgratet und ich versehe ihn die tage mit neuen Passstiften zur perfekten Führung. So gut war das erste Exemplar am ersten tag nicht :) Abwicklung einfach traumhaft, SO muss das sein!

Qualität nicht optimal, aber günstig
Alle Kanten sehr scharfkantig, mussten alle samt entgratet werden. Montageschrauben zu weich sowie die unterlagen dazu zu dünn, beides schon nach 6 Monaten defekt. Kugellager an der Spindel wurde ebenfalls schon getauscht. Wenn man aber den Preis bedenkt ist es akzeptabel.

Die Kanten des Schraubstockes könnten entgratet sein. Ist aber auch schnell selbst erledigt. Gradskala ist zwar vorhanden aber Markierung fehlt.
