Intended use
A pair of prisms is required for parallel clamping, scribing, aligning and checking cylindrical workpieces or shafts. The use of such a pair of prisms is particularly recommended for drilling, milling, grinding and inspection work.

Description of the
Each prism has four milled V-grooves with a 90° angle for clamping round material. The maximum height difference between the two prisms is 0.005 mm.
The four prisms of different sizes allow shafts or round materials from 5 to 70 mm to be clamped.
The parallelism of opposing support surfaces, the parallelism and perpendicularity of the V-grooves in relation to all surfaces and the perpendicularity of the neighbouring outer surfaces is max. 0.01 mm. The flatness of the working surfaces is max. 0.005 mm.
The prism pair is precision ground on all sides.

Absolut ausreichend für meine Zwecke
Ich benutze die Prismen vor allem, um den Rundlauf von Wellen zu prüfen. Ich habe alle 4 Prismenseiten beider Prismenpaare mittels Messuhr und Prüfdorn auf gleiche Höhe gemessen. Die Abweichung lag bei unter 0,02 mm. Somit für den wirklich günstigen Preis sehr gut.
