Intended use
Turning tools with replaceable inserts are characterised by the fact that worn cutting edges can be replaced quickly and easily. The tedious and time-consuming regrinding of the cutting edge is no longer necessary. Another advantage of turning tools with reversible or replaceable inserts is that the most suitable insert can be mounted on the holder depending on the material to be machined. For example, there are special inserts for machining aluminium or non-ferrous metals. Both the holders and the inserts are standardised and can be identified by the respective standard designation.

Tolles Set
Ich nutze dieses Set auf einer uralten Handhebel-Drehmaschine und die Halter, obwohl eher putzig in der Bauform, kommen dort richtig auf touren! Zwar muss ich immer noch aufpassen, nicht zu gierig mit dem Zustellungen und der Geschwindigkeit zu werden, die Halter verrichten aber Ihren Job mühelos und die Wendeplatten können bei einem Missgeschick fix ausgetauscht werden. Als blutiger Anfänger hab ich nie stressfreier und angenehmer gedreht, würde sie mir sofort wieder kaufen!
