The body of this one-hand plane is made of ductile cast iron, the sole and sides are ground. The planer mouth is adjustable so that the chip breakage and the planing pattern can be influenced. The desired chip thickness can be set using the adjustable plane iron. All adjusting and locking screws are knurled brass screws. The bevel angle of the plane blade is 25°, the tilt angle 13.5°. This results in a cutting angle of 38.5°.

habe den Hobel erst mal demontiert und
habe den Hobel erst mal demontiert und Stellen von Farbe befreit wo sie nicht hin gehört. Das Eisen habe ich auch neu angeschliffen. Jetzt funktioniert er tadellos. Trotzdem volle Punktzahl.

Extrem preisgünstig für den der es einschätzen kann
Der Hobel kommt in dickem Öl eingerieben und eingeschweißt. Die Sohle ist nicht plan, nur eine der Seiten hat 90 Grad zur Sohle, die Gewinde sind unsauber, das Maul geht nicht weit genug zu und ist mit Farbe verkleistert. Das Messer ist stumpf und die Schneide ist nicht rechtwinklig zum Messer. Wer das passende KnowHow und Werkzeug besitzt kann aus diesem Hobel mit 3-5 Stunden Arbeit ein funktionierendes Werkzeug machen, das lediglich die Hälfte eines vernünftigen Ersatzmessers kostet. Wer glaubt hier ein sofort einsetzbares Werkzeug zu erhalten sollte lieber bei den Hausmarken der großen Werkzeugversender zuschlagen, die dann auch mindestens das fünffache kosten.
