Intended use
Turning tools with replaceable inserts are characterised by the fact that worn cutting edges can be replaced quickly and easily. The tedious and time-consuming regrinding of the cutting edge is no longer necessary. Another advantage of turning tools with reversible or replaceable inserts is that the most suitable insert can be mounted on the holder depending on the material to be machined. For example, there are special inserts for machining aluminium or non-ferrous metals. Both the holders and the inserts are standardised and can be identified by the respective standard designation.

Ich war es leid meine zusammengestoppelten Drehmeißel immer wieder neu einzurichten. Nun habe ich einen stabilen Satz Drehmeißel mit einheitlicher Höhe. Ich bin nur ein gelegentlicher Anwender aber das Schnittergebnis ist sehr viel besser als bisher. Die Kaufabwicklung verlief ohne Probleme. Gewünscht hätte ich mir einen Hinweis welche Wendeplatten ich im Bedarfsfall nachbestellen kann um Fehlbestellungen zu vermeiden.

Qualität gefällt mir aber eine Nummer größer ist bei mir besser für den Halter. Der Tausch war auch problemlos. Was ja auch sehr wichtig ist.
