Intended use
With a mounting flange for collets, these can also be used on a lathe. In contrast to clamping with three-jaw or four-jaw chucks, clamping with collets ensures that the material is clamped cleanly and gently, and pressure marks are avoided, especially on softer workpieces. As a rule, collet systems have a higher concentricity compared to lathe chucks.

Guter Aufnahmeflansch
Die 72 mm Zentrierung hat ca. 0,05 mm Spiel zum Aufnahmeflansch der Drehmaschine, der Aufnahmeflansch muss also vor der Verwendung mittels Messuhr zentriert werden. Dafür einen Punkt Abzug. Allerdings lässt er sich dadurch mit ein wenig Aufwand 100-Prozentig ausrichten. Ich habe dann mit einem am zylindrischen Teil eingespannten MK2-Prüfdorn den Rundlauf in 100 mm Entfernung vom Futter überprüft: Es gibt keine Abweichung! Bin positiv überrascht.

Die Anlagefläche des Flansch an die Drehmaschine ist nicht sauber ausgeschliffen. Ein Stück ist noch vom Härten schwarz geblieben. Es wird zwar gehen, aber ist ein Qualitätsmagel. Ich komme aus dem Wekzeugmaschinenbau. So was liefern wir nicht.Zum Rundlauf des Kegel kann ich noch nichts sagen.
