Intended use
Boring, facing or boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable right-angled facing of the end faces of bores or the boring of very precise, round bores. This means that extremely precise bores with fitting dimensions can be produced on conventional milling machines. This is a great advantage when producing bearing seats, for example.

Die Lieferung war sehr schnell, sehr gut
Die Lieferung war sehr schnell, sehr gut verpackt und alles in einem ansehnlichen Gehäuse mit Formeinsätzen. Imbusschlüssel zur Einstellung sind ebenfalls dabei. Die Bohrstangen sind alle nochmals extra mit einer Folie und Öl gegen Korrosion geschützt. Für mich als relativen Laien fehlt mir ein Video mit praktischen Hinweisen, wie man einen solchen Bohrkopf handhabt und wie die Bohrstangen auszurichten sind, Hinweise zu Drehzahlen usw.. Solche Videos sind zwar im Netz zu finden, allerdings meistens auf englisch. Zur Verarbeitung: Der Bohrkopf ist sehr solide und stabil gearbeitet und hat meiner Erkenntnis nach eine gute Qualität. Die Einstellung der Querverschiebung habe ich mit einer Messuhr geprüft und war über die Genauigkeit positiv überrascht. Zwischen den beiden Richtungen gibt es ein gewisses Spiel, hat man das Maß überfahren muss man also etwas weiter zurück und neu anfahren, was aber sehr gut geht. Gewünscht hätte ich mir, dass die Bohrstangen über Wendeplatten verfügen und dass eine Bohrstange dabei wäre, die für die Quereinspannung bei Rechtslauf einsetzbar ist. Deshalb habe ich gleich ein passendes Bohrstangenset mit Wendeplatten dazu gekauft. Trotzdem ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend und deshalb gebe ich mit Überzeugung 5 Sterne.

größere Ausdrehdurchmesser nur für linkslaufende Maschinen
Der Ausdrehkopf scheint gut verarbeitet, die Verstellschraube etwas schwergängig und "hakelig", müsste sich aber im Lauf der Zeit geben. Für größere Ausdrehradien müssen die Bohrstangen horizontal fixiert und die Maschine auf Linkslauf umgeschaltet werden. Bedauerlicherweise kann meine Fräse nicht umgeschaltet werden, weswegen ich das Werkzeug noch nicht einsetzen konnte. Muss erst sehen, wie ich einen Umrichter integrieren kann. Schade!

Ganz ok, keine alternativen in der Preisklasse
Der Bohrkopf und Bohrstangen wurden gut verpackt geliefert. Die Qualität ist ok, dennoch sollte ein Schleifblock für die Bohrstangen vorhanden sein. Sie sind recht roh geschliffen, teilweise hatte ich kleine Brüche und Ausreißer auf der Schnittfläche. Es fehlt an den Bohrstangen auch eine Abflachung um diese richtig ausrichten zu können. Insgesamt macht der Bohrkopf was er soll, nächste mal würde ich nur den Bohrkopf kaufen und eine extra Bohrstange mit Wendeplatten.
