Intended use
Turning tools with replaceable inserts are characterised by the fact that worn cutting edges can be replaced quickly and easily. The tedious and time-consuming regrinding of the cutting edge is no longer necessary. Another advantage of turning tools with reversible or replaceable inserts is that the most suitable insert can be mounted on the holder depending on the material to be machined. For example, there are special inserts for machining aluminium or non-ferrous metals. Both the holders and the inserts are standardised and can be identified by the respective standard designation.

Empfehlenswert
Ich bin mit diesem Drehmeißelset sehr zufrieden. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass alle Meißel die selbe Wendeplattengröße verwenden. Dadurch kann man im Notfall auch einfach mal die Platte von einem weniger oft benutzten Meißel nehmen, um weiter arbeiten zu können. Und man muss auch nicht so viele unterschiedliche Wendeplatten vorrätig haben. Die Schnittqualität der mitgelieferten Wndeplatten ist in Stahl einwandfrei und für NE- Metalle und Kunststoffe gibt es ja spezielle scharfkantige Wendeplatten, die ebenfalls sehr gut funktionieren.

Die Stähle scheinen auf die kleine Drehbank SEIG C2 abgestimmt zu sein. Nachdem ich mich mit dem Handling vertraut gemacht habe funktionieren die Teile super. Hinweis und Vorschlag: In der Beschreibung sind die Einsatzmöglichkeiten jedes Stahls aufgeführt. Ich habe nun die einzelnen Positionen nummeriert und mir die Beschreibung ausgedruckt und in den Aufbewahrungskasten eingelegt. Die Nummern habe ich auf die Stähle geschrieben. So ist eine leichte Zuordnung (für Laien) einfach möglich.
