Description of the
Despite its compact size, the PM3700 hobby lathe offers a wide range of possible uses. The gear drive running in an oil bath allows twelve different spindle speeds from 45 to 2,000 rpm, which are switched with a lever. The metal lathe has an additional oil bath gearbox for selecting the different feed speeds for turning and the different pitches for thread cutting. This virtually eliminates the need to replace change gears. You simply select the required feed rate or pitch using the two control levers. The direction of rotation of the combined lead/pull spindle can be set independently of the direction of rotation of the main spindle using a further control knob. This allows you to produce left-hand threads, for example. The PM3700 is equipped with an automatic longitudinal and face feed. The professional control lever makes it quick and easy to select the direction of rotation, which makes operating the lathe much more convenient.

The SIEG SC10 is a 230-volt metal lathe with variable speed control. This centre lathe and feed spindle lathe is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 1,500 watts. The dynamic control ensures a high torque in all speed ranges. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the SC10 extends from 100 to 2,000 rpm. It has a centre distance of 700 mm and a very solid machine bed. The large centre width, the 160 mm lathe chuck with camlock holder and the 300 mm orbital diameter above the machine bed allow even larger workpieces to be machined. The lathe has 14 longitudinal and 14 face feeds, 15 metric and 9 imperial thread pitches, which can be set via the feed gearbox. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this lathe. The direction of rotation and speed can be set at the touch of a button on the control panel. The speed display, the START and STOP buttons and the emergency stop button are also located on the control panel.
The PM3800 lathe is supplied with a matching base frame. The metal lathe is driven by a powerful 400 volt three-phase motor with an output power of 1,100 watts. Power is transmitted via a two-stage belt pulley, which allows the user to switch between the high and low speed ranges (by changing the position of the drive belt). The working spindle gear, which runs in an oil bath, has six different spindle speeds, which can be set using two control levers. This means that a total of twelve speeds from 65 to 1,650 rpm can be set. The combined lead/pull spindle enables both longitudinal and face feed. A lock nut is also integrated for thread cutting. To select the different feed speeds for turning and the different pitches for thread cutting, the required change gear combinations are used according to the change gear table. The direction of rotation of the lead/pull spindle can be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck by moving a switch lever. This means that this hobby lathe can also be used to produce left-hand threads. The lead/pull spindle is completely covered to prevent accidental intervention, and this protection also prevents falling metal chips from sticking. This prevents unnecessary wear and possible damage to the lock nut. The prism bed is induction hardened and ground. All guides can be adjusted backlash-free using wedge and pressure bars. The main spindle runs in precision tapered roller bearings, which can be readjusted if necessary. The top slide can be rotated through 360°. The tailstock can also be moved for taper turning. A professional control lever is used to switch the lathe on and off (clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation).
The start switch, the switch for an optional coolant unit, the operating light and the emergency stop button are located on the control box above the headstock. Other special features include a centre distance of 750 mm as well as a swing diameter above the bed of 330 mm. The spindle bore of 38 mm is also worthy of note.

The PM3900 is a 400-volt metal lathe with a gearbox running in an oil bath. This allows twelve different spindle speeds from 55 to 1,820, which can be switched with a lever. The machine has a centre width of 815 mm and a very solid machine bed. The large centre width, the 160 mm lathe chuck with camlock holder and the 305 mm orbital diameter above the machine bed allow even larger workpieces to be machined. The lathe has 15 longitudinal and 15 face feeds, 21 metric and 13 imperial thread pitches, which can be set via the oil bath feed gearbox. A lever can be used to change the direction of rotation of the combined lead and feed spindle independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this lathe. The emergency stop button, the torque button and the operating light are located above the headstock. The professional control lever for START anti-clockwise, START clockwise and STOP is located on the side of the lock case.
The PM4000 lathe is supplied with a matching base frame. The metal lathe is driven by a powerful 400 volt three-phase motor with an output power of 1,500 watts. Power is reliably transmitted via a two-stage double pulley, which allows the user to switch between the high and low speed ranges (by changing the drive belts). The working spindle gearbox, which runs in an oil bath, has nine different spindle speeds, which can be selected via two control levers. This means that a total of 18 speeds from 65 to 1,810 rpm can be set. The automatic longitudinal and face feed is carried out via the feed spindle equipped with a slip clutch. During thread cutting, the feed is realised via the lead screw and the lock nut.
Switching on the lead or pull spindle and setting the different feed speeds for turning or the desired pitch for thread cutting is done via four control levers on the separate feed gearbox. The direction of rotation of the lead or pull spindle can be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck by moving a shift lever. This means that this hobby lathe can also be used to produce left-hand threads. The lead screw is completely covered to prevent accidental intervention, and this protection also prevents falling metal chips from sticking. This prevents unnecessary wear and possible damage to the lock nut. The prism bed is induction hardened and ground. The machine bed also has a removable bed bridge.
This enables the machining of turned parts with a diameter of up to approx. 450 mm. The PM4000 is also equipped with a foot brake. This allows the lathe to be stopped with pinpoint accuracy, for example when thread cutting. All guides can be adjusted backlash-free by means of wedge strips. The main spindle runs in precision tapered roller bearings, which can be readjusted if necessary. The top slide can be rotated and is therefore suitable for taper turning. The tailstock can also be moved transversely for taper turning. A professional control lever is used to switch the lathe on and off (clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation). The torque button, the operating light and the emergency stop button are located on the control panel on the headstock. Other special features include a centre distance of 900 mm and a spindle bore of 38 mm.

Meine erste eigene Drehmaschine
Hier bekommt man wirklich Hilfe. Vielen Dank nochmals.
