Intended use
Drilling, facing and boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable the end faces of bores to be faced at right angles or allow very precise, round bores to be bored. This means that extremely accurate bores with interference fits can be produced on conventional milling machines. This is of great advantage, for example, when manufacturing bearing seats.

This boring / boring head is made of steel. The head diameter is 30 mm. The drill head can be fitted with interchangeable clamping shanks via the M14 x 1.0 mounting thread. This means that this tool can be used on milling machines with different tool holders. The drill carriage is adjusted manually via the adjusting spindle, the feed accuracy is 0.01 mm. Suitable boring bars can be clamped in the boring head via the locating holes on the boring slide.
