Intended use
Drilling, facing or boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable right-angled facing of the end faces of bores or the boring of very precise, round bores. This means that extremely precise bores with fitting dimensions can be produced on conventional milling machines. This is a great advantage when producing bearing seats, for example.

Description of the
This drilling / boring head set consists of a manual drilling head with a diameter of 38 mm, three screwable shanks, five boring tools with a clamping shank diameter of 8 mm and an angle adapter. With the angle adapter, the drilling / boring head can also be used as an impact milling cutter for surface face milling.
Thanks to the screw-on shanks, the boring head can be used on conventional milling machines with MK2, MK3 or cylindrical tool holders. The drilling carriage is adjusted manually via the adjusting spindle, the feed accuracy is 0.015 mm.
