Intended use
Drilling, facing or boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable the perpendicular facing of the end faces of bores or the boring of very precise, round bores. This means that extremely precise bores with interference fits can be produced on conventional milling machines. This is of great advantage, for example, when manufacturing bearing seats.

Description of the
This drilling/boring head set comprises a manual drilling head with a diameter of 50 mm and five boring tools with brazed carbide inserts. The boring head can be used on conventional milling machines with MK2 tool holders. The drilling slide is adjusted manually via the adjusting spindle, with a feed accuracy of 0.02 mm. With the adapter included in the scope of delivery for holding HSS turned bars with a diameter of 8 mm, this boring head can also be used as an impact tooth milling cutter.
